A peaceful, eco-friendly campsite set in a beautiful natural landscape, The Green Frog Campsite is the ideal place to slow down and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil scenery, it offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Built from over 20 years of touring experience across Europe, our campsite brings together the very best features from hundreds of locations.

We are proudly not a large commercial site—instead, we focus on creating a relaxed, well-thought-out space that offers comfort, simplicity, and flexibility for all campers.

Choose from full-size pitches, touring aire pitches, or small two-person tent pitches, depending on how you like to travel. We also provide metered electric hook-ups (5kW per night FREE) for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes.

Whether you’re staying for a night or a little longer, The Green Frog Campsite offers a calm, welcoming base to enjoy the outdoors at your own pace.

• Beautiful Natural Surroundings: The campsite is surrounded by forests, meadows and nearby peaceful lochans providing an ideal backdrop for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy scenic hikes, bird watching, and exploring local flora and fauna.
• Eco-Friendly Amenities: The Green Frog Campsite is equipped with solar-powered facilities, toilets/showers, and recycling, ensuring a low carbon footprint. Campers are encouraged to practice Leave No Trace principles to preserve the environment.
• Variety of Pitches: Whether you prefer pitching up with electric hook-up, awning, or just stand alone, each pitch has its own merits. Advance booking is recommended if you have specific requirements. *(As we are not a large commercial site, we are unable to accept Motorhomes/Caravans etc that exceed 8 metres in length)
• Outdoor Activities: The campsite has its own onsite fishing lochans and is close to a range of outdoor activities, including kayaking and nature walks. There’s also a designated area for BBQs on the site.
• Site Facilities: We offer a toilet and shower block (four private cubicles with W.C., shower, sink, hot water and free hair dryer), fresh water fill, grey water and black water disposal points. Site WiFi is also available to purchase. *(The toilets and showers are closed Dec to mid March and we cannot guarantee water if frozen)
• We Welcome Dogs: Well behaved dogs, on a lead at all times, on site and in our cafe and grounds. Dogs are free if prebooked, a maximum of 3, and not on the dangerous dog list.
